Jan-Christian brings a rich academic background in Political Science, European Cultural Studies, and Law, with a specialization in European Foreign Policy & EU-Governance. His thesis delved into the complexities of the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy and explored the external policies of populist parties in Europe. Throughout his career, Jan-Christian has demonstrated a deep commitment to advocacy and policymaking, highlights include: successfully managing several election campaigns for a major German political party; several yeas of foreign development lobbying in the European Parliament and the German Bundestag & leading international model UN conferences, for example the prestigious Model United Nations New York or his work as a project manager at the UNDP HSC. A passionate advocate for European federalism, sustainable foreign policy, and cultural-academic exchange across the EU, Jan-Christian embodies the spirit of collaboration  inside the European Union and IFAIR. His work aims to bridge divides and foster meaningful dialogue on EU & global challenges.
